Back in my prime

Birthday cakeToday is my birthday and, for the first time in four years, my age is a prime number.

After this year, it will be another six years before I am “prime” again.

Hold old am I?

(And just a little context, in case you don’t know me, I am not (alas!) a very young teacher, nor have I stayed in the classroom well beyond retirement age.)

You are 41, 4 years ago you were 37 and in 6 years time you will be 47.

Hi Joy, have another go: 43 is also a prime number, so if I were 41 there would only be two years until I was prime again.

gosh, yes, missed that one, ok you’re 47, plus, of course, having followed Becky for some time I’m aware of how old she and your children are so I was guessing you were a child bridegroom 🙂 I’m also prime at the moment, for another month, last time was just under 6 years ago, and next time will be 4 years and a month hence. (I’m almost old enough to be your mum!)
