As discussed in the last post, we live in the “Information Age”. With so much data available to us, its easy to drown in an information overload and so, more than ever, we need to think about how we display that data.
Below is a short video – less than three minutes long – that is a brilliant example of how data can be used to both illustrate and illuminate.
The message of the video is hugely important – and hugely encouraging – but I’d like you to focus on the brilliant way that the data is displayed. I can spot four – or is it five? – different variables: can you see them too?
