To get the next number in the sequence
Add the previous two numbers together. It is so simple, and so clever.

(In case you’ve forgotten, this is the Fibonacci Sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, … where each number is the sum of the previous two.)
